FULL SERVICE

When we provide full-charge accounting services, our staff manages all required accounting functions, and we can do this from your office or ours. Please see our service overview for all the many facets of accounting that we can handle.

RMG is also available to assist with responses to tax notices, audits, financial reporting, insurance and loan applications, and the many different tasks often required of a company's accounting area.

We work with multiple softwares, and integrated or stand-alone third-party applications. Our experience runs across multiple industries and platforms, including B2B, B2C, wholesale, retail, e-commerce, products, services, etc. Our clients are located primarily in the New York City metro area, and also have operations in other states and countries.

ASSISTED SERVICE

Also known as after-the fact recordkeeping, this service is for those clients who wish to handle the day-to-day acccounting functions themselves, whether done by the owner, an assistant bookkeeper or an administrative assistant. RMG staff then works with the company data and files to complete monthly bank reconciliations, payroll review, and financial analysis, as needed. In this situation, the client issues their own invoices, pays their own bills, etc. all through their own financial software.

OVERSIGHT-ONLY SERVICE

This service is appropriate when a client wishes to have the work of their existing staff reviewed, whether for auditing, accuracy, segregation of duties, fraud-control, or systems and efficiency improvement. RMG staff reviews company financial information (via access to financial software and datafile, reports, paper and/or electronic records, etc.).

On a project-basis, a summary of findings and any recommendations for improvements are made based upon the outcome of our detailed review.

For on-going oversight, a process is designed to suit the specific needs of your company. This can be managed weekly, monthly, quarterly or on some other program appropriate for your needs.

FORENSIC & PROJECT SERVICES

Clients who either have no current accounting system in place, or have had a previously existing system "break down" (data loss, missing records, etc.) can have their accounts put in order on a project basis. The RMG Group specializes in investigative and "repair" work, rehabilitation of data-files and record-keeping systems, and the creation of proper internal accounting records and systems from available data.

Recommendations can be made for ongoing maintenance of the new or repaired accounting system, whether by your existing staff or us.

CONSULTING & TRAINING

Consulting services are provided on an as-needed basis for financial analysis, budgeting, income, COS (cost of sale), and expense projections (short-term, long term); cash-flow analysis; general business planning and review; insurance review work; audit responses; etc.

We can also train you or your staff in how to handle certain functions of your internal accounting. Note that we recommend that if the work is done by someone with little bookkeeping experience, it should always be overseen or reviewed for accuracy and correctness.
